END OF AN ERA – We’re shutting down the classic Rule

Since its founding in 2007, Rule has grown into one of the Nordic region’s leading Martech companies, known for its ability to help customers deliver personalized customer experiences and improve ROI on their digital marketing. Today we are proud to announce a new era for our platform, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our users and partners.

The end of one era - the beginning of another

Rule has been an established player in the market since 2007 and now we are taking our platform to new heights. Rule has undergone a total transformation in recent months and now offers an interface with an intuitive design and exclusive functionalities to help you take your work to the next level. Having said that, it is time to thank classic Rule for its services and welcome a new era of digital communication in our new interface.

What does this change mean?

Our redesigned platform is designed to offer an exceptional user experience, with every aspect thought out to meet our users’ needs. After months of research, surveys and feedback gathering, we are now proud to present enhanced features and a brand new visual experience in the platform. With this, we have taken a big step forward in our quest to offer the most efficient and user-friendly communication platform on the market. It also means that we will close down the old part of the platform shortly.

Note: This change means that you as a customer do not need to take any action, apart from familiarizing yourself with the new interface. We want to assure you that there will be no additional costs in connection with this change. Your existing customer data, including all tags and segments, is unchanged and fully accessible. In addition, you will be able to continue to monitor and evaluate your ongoing campaigns and automations as usual. In conclusion, this is only a visual update to the design, with no impact on your account or costs! Your only task is to get used to the new look!

As the title says, the new interface of the Rule is not just a visual upgrade. You as a user will now experience a more seamless interaction with the platform and can take advantage of more new features that will make your work more efficient. Some of the of the prominent new features include:

Brand Style - Generate your brand profile fully automatically

With our ‘Brand Style’ feature, your company can instantly transform its communication to be branded using personalized templates. When a company creates an account with Rule, elements from the company’s website, such as logo and colors, are identified and used to create customized templates for you, completely automatically. This not only saves you time, but also strengthens your brand’s presence in every message. Experience a revolutionary change in the way you communicate with your customers, and let “Brand Style” do the heavy lifting.

Improved analytics - See statistics up to 18 months ago

We have launched a brand new analytics and statistics page, enabling easier and more effective analysis of email and SMS. The new analytics page offers an integrated view of Campaigns, Automations and Journeys, with an upload of 18 months of historical data. (psst. this only applies to your email campaigns) to get insights from further back in time.

This upgrade facilitates faster data-driven decisions and provides a comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of your campaigns. Users can now identify trends and adapt their marketing strategies more effectively, and the visual presentation makes the analysis easy to interpret, even for non-experts. This functionality is part of our commitment to provide tools for advanced analysis and monitoring.

Better overview of your members

With the new update of the interface, we are also introducing an improved view for membership cards. Each card is designed to clearly present important information about the member’s activity, current status and their affiliation to different segments and tags. Now you can more quickly and easily get a full picture of your members and the data you have collected about them, and thus advance your segmentation efforts.
