At Rule, we are always looking for new ways to improve and expand the services we offer in our platform. That’s why we’re proud to announce our latest update Rule Omnireach – which will revolutionize the way you communicate with your customers. This update opens up communication not only via email and SMS, but also via leading digital platforms such as Google, Meta and TikTok. Awesome, right? Find out more below!

New communication channels - Higher and wider online presence

With the introduction of five different communication channels, our aim is to help you actively reach out to your members in the way that suits them best. This means that even if a member chooses not to receive emails from you, you can still engage them through other channels where they are more active. This flexibility ensures that your messages get through, which in turn increases your digital presence and potentially your sales.

Omnichannel strategy - Why is it important?

An omnichannel strategy is not just a trend, it is a necessity. By integrating multiple communication channels, you can create a seamless and unified customer experience. Whether your customers interact with your brand through social media, via email or through direct messaging, they will receive a consistent experience that reinforces your brand’s value and builds long-term customer relationships.

The fun part - what are the benefits of the update?

More channels, more opportunities

By connecting our integrations to custom audiences for Tik Tok, Facebook and Google, you can now transfer member information directly to these platforms, where you can target marketing based on the data you have about your members’ preferences and behaviors. You can then create engaging campaigns for your customers in their preferred channel. And, YES, this is fully GDPR compliant. Find out more about custom audiences.


Find new customers

In addition, you can create “lookalike audiences” on Meta, Google and TikTok to reach new potential customers similar to your existing audience. And why is this the key to success? The list is long, but some of our favorites are:

  • Precision in marketing

Lookalike audiences allow for a high degree of precision in your marketing campaigns. By analyzing the characteristics of your current customers, these platforms can find new individuals who share similar behaviours, interests and demographic data. This means that your ads reach people who are more likely to be interested in what you offer, which can lead to a number of higher conversions and a more efficient use of your marketing budget.

  • Find your target audience in new markets

Use Look-alike audiences to expand to other countries. You do this by creating a segment in Rule, and then transferring that customer list to the chosen platform. Then create a Look-alike audience based on that list and choose which country you want to target with your campaign. The information in the list is then used to find new potential customers who share these characteristics in another country. Good, is not it? This way, you can reach people who have similar interests to your existing target audience, but in other countries.

Psst, Again, we would like to remind you that this is fully GDPR compliant. Too good to be true? Nope, not at Rule 😉

Maximize engagement with transactional automations

Another powerful tool in this update is the ability to set up transactional automations. This means that important messages such as order confirmations and contract changes will always be sent, even if the member has unsubscribed from receiving market emails. This ensures that you can always maintain important communication with your customers.

Clearer member view and effective segmentation

Our new platform update also introduces improved segmentation tools. You will now be able to easily see which channels each member has opted-in to – this is clearly shown through new, intuitive icons and colors in the member view. Green means go! A green icon indicates that the member is active and receptive to communication on that channel. Full control over marketing

A new feature of our platform is the ‘Total block for marketing’. This means that if a member chooses not to receive any marketing, we respect that decision across all channels. At the same time, if a member has unsubscribed from promotional SMS, but not from automated SMS, they will still be able to receive these messages via another channel.
