Sandqvist needed to bring all of their digital communications, from newsletters and transactional mailings to campaign automations, into one system. As they built a new website for 44 local markets, it quickly became complex to manage content, links and automated flows effectively. Their previous systems were fragmented and difficult to scale globally, making it challenging for the marketing team to create a consistent and relevant customer experience.

Web agency ZCO, which creates headless e-commerce solutions, took on the task of structuring, designing and moving Sandqvist’s entire digital communication to Rule, in connection with a total tech stack migration. The migration to Rule had a clear focus on making the complex simple and sustainable.

Through clever use of member fields, language switches and dynamic URLs in Rule, flows were created that work automatically for each market and language (44 markets and 4 languages). Order confirmations, welcome series and post-purchase flows now automatically adapt to country and language, eliminating the need for separate flows for each market and simplifying work significantly for Sandqvist.

With ZCO‘s help, Sandqvist now has a scalable and efficient communication platform with Rule that enables seamless, personalized and automated communication across 44 markets. Advanced flows are managed centrally but experienced locally for each customer, saving time, reducing complexity and increasing the quality of communication.

Post-purchase communication is a clear example of this. Depending on the collection the customer has purchased, for example leather, tailored flows are triggered with relevant care guides, product recommendations and content that extends up to six months after purchase. The recipient can also choose the type of communication they want to receive, which strengthens the relationship and creates more engaged recipients. Sandqvist has a solution that combines global scalability with a high degree of personalization. ZCO has shown that advanced communication can be made scalable, flexible and simple in Rule.
